Here is a look into who we are.

Ira Einhorn
Certified Public Accountant

I was a divisional controller for a Fortune 500 company and have worked for other businesses as a consultant and on the board of directors. As time went on, I became tired of working for others so I stepped off the cliff, jumped, and became self employed. I have never looked back. No longer subject to corporate politics, I became free to work in an environment where I can really work for my client’s best interest.

Our philosophy is simple. Relieve our clients from the stress and misery that comes with running a business. We handle the necessary record keeping and tax burden so that you can focus on your business.

We work diligently and feverishly to find every tax deduction, credit or tax strategy that will work for you. Whether you have a simple or sophisticated tax return, the goal is to get every dollar that you can legally get back from the taxing authorities.

I have also performed over one hundred business financial statement audits and that has allowed me to understand the “nuts and bolts” of small business.

Some additional experience has been leading business seminars for the State of California and teaching Quickbooks and accounting at Roseville Adult High School. Be sure to ask about my first day teaching.

Finally,our fees are extremely reasonable for the personalized service you receive. In some cases they are even less than the large chains which often miss great tax opportunities.

Paul Maitra
Staff Accountant

Paul joined our firm in 2005. He brings with him work experience in private industry and public accounting. Prior to joining us, he held division controllership positions with technical manufacturing companies in Santa Barbara and the Silicon Valley. After returning to public accounting he pursued his CPA license, passing the Uniform CPA Exam in 2009. He is currently completing his work experience required for licensure. Paul holds a B.A. Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Business Economics, with an Accounting Emphasis.

Paul has satisfied the Intuit requirements and is recognized as a Certified Quickbooks Advisor.

He is the person we rely on to clean up really really messy accounts and transform them to a month closing that is stress free for our clients.

Teri List
Bookkeeper

Teri has been with our family the longest and is our first ever employee.  Her wonderful personality and ability to gently move clients through the month closing process endears her to our clients.

I met Teri as a teacher when she took my course at Roseville Adult High School in bookkeeping and computerized accounting. She “aced” the class and we hired her right away.

She is payroll certified and has prepared numerous payroll, 1099, and sales tax returns and has satisfied monthly bookkeeping requirements for many of our ongoing clients.

Teri is a true MVP both to our clients and to us!

Debra De Long
Staff Accountant

Accurate, exact, wonderful to interact with, Debra is Quickbooks Advanced Certified, proficient at keeping your books up to date, correct and in compliance with regulatory agencies.

Her accounting education began at Cal State Northridge and after having a family she finished her education at the University of Phoenix earning a Bachelor’s Degree.

She started her career working in the health care industry doing accounting for a small hospital in San Clemente.  From there she had the “fortunate opportunity” to be offered an accounting position with a large health care corporation. She worked at their corporate headquarters in Santa Ana where she honed her bookkeeping and accounting skills over many years.

Debra moved to Northern California in 2009 to be close to her daughter and family.  This is where we met and we are grateful to have her as part of our CPA family.

Robin Anderson
Office Manager

Robin is our newest team member and serves as our office manager. She handles all our administrative tasks and works with our clients to process all the necessary paperwork so everything runs smoothly. Our clients report she is persistent and pleasant in making sure we have all documents needed to process their tax returns or bookkeeping.
